How Am I Framing This Situation?

Often the way we and others see a situation depends on how it is framed. Just like framing a picture, we can frame the way we see a situation in life. The perspective we view a scenario from will inform our opinion a lot. So will several other factors - how much light has been shed the subject? Are we looking down on it or up at it? How narrow or wide is our focus? Are we looking too small or aiming to big? Just like in photography, we need to be aware of how we're seeing the subject, and how these factors affect our view of it. Before making big decisions, take a moment to recognize your perspective, highlight the important things and frame it appropriately.
